How do Sonnet supplements impact the four stages of sleep?
Our bodies move through four different stages of REM (rapid eye movement) and non-REM (non-rapid eye movement) sleep every night, each of which serves a specific restorative function. Sonnet's formulations are specially designed to respond differently depending on what stage of sleep you are in.
Ingredients such as GABA and Valerian, for example, which produce a calming effect to support relaxation and reduce sleeplessness, begin working prior to and during N1. Venetron, on the other hand, targets multiple stages. It starts working in N1-2 help improve sleep initiation and continues working throughout the non-REM deep sleep N3 by supporting sleep cycles and increasing delta waves.
Our Sleep + Restore formulation contains melatonin, which also impacts multiple stages of sleep. It begins working soon after consumption to help you fall asleep faster (N1) and stay asleep with high-quality, restorative rest (N3-REM).
Why do you have melatonin in only one product (Sleep + Restore)?
Melatonin, although widely used, produces varied results—including symptoms of grogginess upon waking. Our formulations were developed by a PhD in Nutrition Biochemistry and reviewed by a panel of medical experts in sleep, integrative, and naturopathic medicine. Together, they examined a range of alternative ingredients that have been clinically shown to improve the duration and quality of sleep while ensuring you wake up refreshed. But remember—sleep is personal, and there is no one-size-fits-all solution.
What are Sonnet capsules made of?
Sonnet capsules are made from HPMC (Hydroxypropylmethylcellulose), which is naturally derived from vegetable cellulose and contains no gelatin or animal byproducts.
Why do Sonnet supplements vary in color?
Variations in color are normal for natural products that utilize plant-based, harvested botanicals like Sonnet supplements do—so don’t be alarmed! However, if you still have a concern about color or appearance, don’t hesitate to reach out to us at care@takesonnet.com.
Can my child take Sonnet supplements?
Sonnet is formulated and recommended for adults aged 18+. If you have someone younger than that who is interested, please consult his/her medical professional. For safety purposes, please store the supplement in a location that is out of reach for young children.
Are Sonnet supplements safe to take while pregnant or breastfeeding?
If you are pregnant or nursing, please consult with your doctor prior to taking any dietary supplements.

For best results, we suggest taking the supplements 30-40 minutes before bedtime with water.
What if I miss a few days of supplements?
It’s okay to miss a few days of supplements (trust us, we’ve been there), but keep in mind that select ingredients become more effective over time. Consistency is the name of the game when it comes to reaping the maximum positive benefits of our formulations.
Can I open the capsules and mix their contents with water or any other liquid?
Our formulations are made of botanical extracts that are not 100% soluble in water. For this reason, they need to be taken as capsules in order to reap the maximum benefits.
Can I take Sonnet supplements with other supplements?
Yes! All Sonnet formulations are safe to take with others.
How should I expect to feel when waking up after taking the supplement?
Sonnet's clinically-studied formulations are designed to help you fall asleep faster and stay asleep longer in order to wake up feeling refreshed, reset, and well-rested. But keep in mind that, like our sleep needs, we are all unique, so results may vary.
Will I be groggy the next day?
Sonnet's products are specially formulated in partnership with our team of medical experts to ensure you wake up refreshed—a dream ticket to groggy-free mornings. (Note: In the spirit of full transparency, we will say that some customers report symptoms of grogginess with melatonin, so that should be considered if you’re taking Sleep + Restore.)

How big are the capsules?
The daily dosage of Sonnet's supplements is packed in two vegan capsules. For Core Sleep, the capsule is size 1 (holds about 400mg) and for Sleep + Calm, and Sleep + Restore, the capsule is size 0 (holds about 500mg).
Where are Sonnet supplements manufactured?
Sonnet products are manufactured in the USA at an FDA-registered, GMP-certified facility that has been in the manufacturing business for more than 20 years and is regularly inspected by the Department of Agriculture. The GMP (Good Manufacturing Practice) certification ensures that products are consistently produced and controlled according to strict quality standards. Our GMP certification also includes FSMA (Food Safety Modernization Act) and cGMP (Current Good Manufacturing Practice: 21 CFR 111 and 21 CFR 117) certifications by NSF, an independent audit and certification agency.
QUALITY
Are Sonnet supplements non-GMO and organic?
Sonnet supplements do not contain genetically modified organizations (GMOs), and as such are classified as non-GMO. While our product is not certified organic, our manufacturing site is.
Are Sonnet supplements allergen-free, vegan, vegetarian, and/or gluten-free?
Yes, yes, yes, and yes! Our products do not contain dairy, meat, gluten, peanuts, sesame, shellfish, or eggs—and they will all be tested for potential industry allergens.
Are there any artificial flavors, colors, dyes, or preservatives in Sonnet supplements?
No. Sonnet supplements are free from artificial colors, dyes, flavors, and preservatives.
Are Sonnet supplements tested for pesticides?
Yes, all of our botanicals go through pesticide tests.
Is it just me, or do Sonnet supplements smell different from others?
It’s not just you! Our capsules are filled with botanical extracts that have a natural aroma. We could have avoided it, but we didn’t want to add any unnecessary flavors. What’s included in the first month of my Sonnet subscription?
In addition to a 30-day supply of the formulation of your choice, your first Sonnet shipment includes a reusable glass jar for your capsules.
Why does my second month’s shipment look different from my first?
The environment is right up there with healthy sleep on the list of things we love, which is why we’ve taken the step to preserve it by sending refill capsules in recyclable, food-grade safe pouches. All you have to do is open the pouch and empty its contents into your reusable glass bottle.

How much do you charge for shipping?
Sonnet subscribers enjoy free shipping, while non-subscribers opting for à la carte purchases are charged a flat rate of $5.00 per order.
How are Sonnet supplements packaged?
Supplements are packaged in a durable glass bottle that, unless dropped, should last forever. Refill capsules are packaged in a 100% recyclable pouch.
What’s your packaging made out of?
The reusable glass jar included in your first shipment is packaged in a corrugated, recyclable shipper box. The recyclable pouch included in subsequent shipments comes inside a padded envelope made of recyclable paper.
What are the bottles and caps made of?
The bottles are glass and the caps are made of high-quality, food-grade plastic.
When will my Sonnet box arrive?
We do our best to process all orders within 24 hours of purchase. Once shipped, expect the box to be in transit between 3-7 business days (with additional days for Alaska, Hawaii, Puerto Rico, and the US Virgin Islands). For an estimated delivery date, log in to your account and click the tracking. Alternatively, you can use the tracking number from the order confirmation page.
How do I change my delivery date?

How do I update my billing and shipping addresses?

How long does it take to receive my refund?
You’ll receive an email confirmation from us as soon as we process your refund; however, the amount of time it takes for the refund to show up on your bank statement depends on your financial institution.
Can I exchange my bottle for a new one?
For safety reasons, we cannot exchange any products once they have been shipped. However, if you’re in need of a replacement for whatever reason (lost, broken, etc), please reach out to us at care@takesonnet.com. We’d be happy to ship you one!
What is your Refund Policy?
We're committed to helping you achieve better sleep health, naturally. If after several weeks of usage you're finding the product is not working, please let us know within 30 days of your delivery and we'll give you a full refund, no questions asked. Sonnet is not able to accept returns and/or refund customers who attempt to return a retail purchase through our website.
